Dec. 24, 2005 This just in....a large heavy-set caucasian man has just been sighted flying in an unidentified flying aircraft over the downtown Houston area. This individual is also suspected of owning several un-licensed wild deer. If you see this man please contact local authorities as he is also suspected of multiple cases of breaking and entering. He can easily be identified by his thick white beard and his outrageous red suit. He can also occasionally be heard exclaiming "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"And with that being said.....Merry Christmas everybody. Have a safe and happy holiday! Sir Charles
Dec. 23, 2005 I just recently heard from Val-gaav, a member from the Polish site Behemoth's Lair. Apparently they've been having some rather massive problems with their servers and were forced to relocate and Angelspit, the webmaster from Celestial Heavens was kind enough to give them a home. Dec. 22, 2005 Ubisoft launched a new Heroes V website today. While overall it doesn't contain many new items...YET. I did spot 4 new screenshots. You can find them at the top of the Heroes V Screenshot page. Sir Charles
Dec. 21, 2005 I did a minor change to the Newspage. I've broken it down by months and archived the older pages. All the older Newspages can be accessed at the bottom of the current Newspage. Dec. 20, 2005 Our friends over at Nival Interactive posted 4 new Heroes 5 Screenshots today. In them we get our first peek at the Ballista and a few other goodies which can be found here. And also a slight follow-up concerning the Box-shot posted a few days ago. The same polish website that originally posted the box-shot has now posted these.
I have no idea if these are real or not. But considering the fact that the first one got a round-about confirmation of sorts, I'd say the odds of this being real as well is quite good. Either way...looks darned nice. :O) Sir Charles
Dec. 17, 2005 Celestial Heavens got the scoop yesterday about the leaked Heroes 5 box-shot from a polish web-site. I just got word today that it is indeed an official box-shot. It's not considered final as of yet, but it is official. And for those of you who haven't seen it yet....enjoy. :O)

Dec. 2, 2005 Today I've added 6 new Screenshots that give examples of troop special abilities. We also get our first in-game glimpses of the Gremlin, Silver Unicorn, Ancient Treant, Mage and Minotaur Guard. These can all be seen in detail on the Troops page. Ubisoft revealed the details of the special abilities for one unit from each faction. So far we have the official abilities for the Archangel, Familiar, Mage, Deep Hydra, Blade Dancer, and Vampire. Dec. 1, 2005 The Age of Heroes fan-site has recently published 14 screenshots (page 1) (page 2) that were leaked to the Heroes Community forums. Until I get the go-ahead from Fabrice (Heroes 5 producer), I'm waiting to add these screenshots to the Lamp. Also of interest, Ubisoft has added a rather interesting page to their website.
